Mega CD/Sega CD Game: Jeopardy! (1994 Sony Imagesoft)
19A quiz/trivia game based on a popular TV show of the same name. This version features full-motion video sprites of the host, Alex Trebek, and the contestants as well. It also has the digital track of the theme song and Alex's voice. You can play in multiplayer mode or against the computer and can select the number of contestants and the gender and appearance of your own contestant. This version has more database of questions than any of the cartridge versions due to the increased capacity of the CD media since the cartridge version only had limited capacity and bandwidth.
Note: Tough! but great game! I just noticed Alex Trebek the longtime host of Jeopardy! the game show passed away last November 2020. That's a sad and terrible day in TV history. Without Alex Trebek, Jeopardy! is not the same without him. As a result, I'm uploading several Jeopardy! video games as a special tribute to him and a great dedication to his memory, which, we will never forget. Let's enjoy the show and have fun!
