Just me playing through Addams Family Values for the Sega Mega Drive.
This was my first time seeing or playing this one.
This was a channel redeem by the Twitch user Vidya_Fam.
Upon first inspection I thought the game looked great graphically, and I enjoyed the sounds as well, everything was nice and dark and creepy, which would fit the aesthetic of this game. It looked like it was going to become an action adventure title in the vein of Zelda and such, but alas it quickly devolved into a confusing train wreck of cryptic bullshit and mazes. The vast majority of this game is just wandering the confusing overworld map wondering where the hell you are supposed to go, and what you're supposed to do. When you finally accidentally stumble across your answer, it just enrages you as it never makes any bloody sense. This game looks great on the surface, but holy hell was this a tedious chore, I'd avoid at all costs.
