In a speedrun of Mega Man 10 without DLC weapons, Blade Man is one of the last robot masters you would go for, which is largely due to wanting Rush Jet to clear the spike sections. My run demonstrates that Rush Jet isn't required to beat this level quickly, nor is Commando Bomb if you use the most optimal strategy when fighting Blade Man buster-only. The only item that my strategy requires is a Beat Call to clear the last pit. Shock Guard would help you get past the long row of spikes a bit faster, but it's not essential.

The only bad parts of this run are a sloppy Tricastle fight and getting hit by Blade Man, but the latter didn't slow the fight down at all.
