This is the difficulty you unlock after beating the game normally. As you'd expect, it's a version that is harder than normal, similar to Superhero mode in Mega Man 9, but with harder bosses as well. It is actually harder than the Superhero mode from the previous game, but that's mostly because almost every weapon in this game is bad, compared to the previous game where almost every weapon was good.
