Wily finally devises a clever trap with barriers to protect it, but then forgets he also created a robot specializing in explosives that attach to walls.

Wily Stage 4 finally kicks it up a notch comparatively. The first section starts with some fake floors scattered about. Mostly harmless except for the ones over the giant spikes. The next sections has Tellies and moving platforms. Leaf Shield will do the trick here, but still be careful with footing. Finally, there is a section with Sniper Joes/Armors. Be very careful here as it is easy to spawn more by backtracking.

Even the boss is much more challenging than the last three. The Boobeam Trap is a puzzle where Mega Man needs to blow up all the turrets. However, the turrets often have barriers blocking the paths to them, and to top it all off only Crash Bomber will destroy the barriers and turrets. It's a battle to conserve energy (and if you run out, Mega Man's going to have to die, and get more energy), and that alone makes it troublesome. However, the turrets also fire shots synchronously at alarming speeds. Since Mega Man is surrounded, this makes it especially hard to dodge. It's a tough boss battle to go at without taking damage.
