A battle in Space leaves two unidentified robots crashing onto Earth. One of them was discovered by Mega Man, who also had his own battle, against Bass. Meanwhile, Dr. Wily discovers an evil energy, and plans on using it for himself. As Mega Man soon discovers this, he goes out to recover it, and investigate as to what it's about. But who is the mysterious robot from Space?
