So apparently, getting a game over at the boss starts you back at the form you lost against? Very interesting. This elevates the stage to a much higher level in quality. The stage itself is very cool, because once you get familiar with it, you will have a pretty easy time. Before that, not so much. The rematches were a surprise. An unpleasant one I thought, until I realised this thing with the final boss checkpoint. This justifies the boss rematches a whole lot. This all together makes for one epic final stage filled with tense encounters. The final boss is great because it's quite tough, yet at the same time gives you checkpoints throughout.
Wily flees once more, which is also interesting. This really felt like his last stand. What more can he even do against Mega Man? The future will tell...
