So basically all the same set pieces are here. The stage is very vertical, there's electric traps in a couple of places, ladder climbing sequences with enemies on the side which you can just skip, and a big eye at the end that's really annoying. The new thing in this stage is the moving platforms from Ice Man's stage, and just like in that stage, it's luck based on how cooperative they are.

Elec Man is a lot slower than he was in the NES game. His Thunder Beam is a bit slower, and he's slower when firing it off in midair. Sometimes anyway. His super move has him call down a lightning bolt right where you are. You have to jump to avoid it. The bolt itself doesn't damage you, only the impact on the ground. On Hard Mode, he calls down 3 bolts in a row.

And with our last Robot Master defeated, Wily invites us into his castle to finish things in person. __
