Every emulator that I've ever used for this game has exhibited quite a bit of slowdown in general, and *especially so* on the MM1 Yellow Devil fight. Check this other user's video for a comparison, which is consistent with what I remember from my own prior playthroughs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pN_v1Pges8&t=24m20s

So far, I haven't seen any noticeable slowdown while playing on the Genesis Mini. Either they actually optimized the game or their emulator, or the slowdown I've experienced in the past was emulator-specific and not inherent to the game itself. I don't have a cartridge of my own that I could use to confirm this, and while I did happen to play this game back in the day on Sega Channel, my memory certainly isn't sharp enough to recall performance details from the mid 1990s.

Can anyone else confirm/deny that the performance on this version is any different from the original cartridge?
