Part 3 of 13 - Mega Man X3 playthroughs. (XBONE)

My next and second stage is Volt Catfish. His stage is somehow like a power plant compares to MMX1 Spark Mandrill.

At the beginning, you'll come across a laser-sighting device. If you're spotted by the laser, it'll shoot a beam of energy at you in a quick speed. You can either wait it out for the laser to goes out, or just dash fast enough to avoid taking hit. Afterward, there's a floating platform in front of you. Standing on top alone won't move it, so you'll need something big and heavy to make it move downward, so come back later on when you had one.

On the ceiling and floor, there's a specific type of enemies that can shield itself with electricity to protect when in danger of being destroyed. It'll take a few shots to wear out it shield and blast 'em away. Afterward, there's the same one as before, but it'll move upward when you stepped on it. Be careful of rocket shooting enemies while moving on up. Don't stay on too long because there's spikes on the ceiling and you'll be completely destroyed when being touched by those. So once you reached the top, quickly dash out of the way.

After moving a little further ahead, there's another platform you can stand on move up. Just stay away from the spiked walls to avoid sudden death. While its reached higher enough, there's another path you can go further up, but still watch out for the ceiling like before. When you've reached higher enough, quickly moved out the way, and you'll see a heart tank in the small room of floored spikes. This can be a little risky to get it normally, unless you had a certain armor part to get it safer. If you want to a chance, dash jump to the opposite wall and pick up the heart tank, but quickly jump back up and dash jump back to the other wall. Just still be careful of the spiked walls before.

Once again, after moving up further, there's another platform you'll see by, and the wall are safer to climb as well. While going on up, there's two ways you can move. Then again, if going up more, watch out above you... As you've reached high enough, you'll see a barrel-like platform with a graphical hint that you need to use to move it. If you already had it, then go ahead and move on up. If not, just move down and continues til you had it.
