Dr. Doppler's Lab contains some rather interesting stages, even if you aren't going after the Gold Armor. It all depends on if you properly defeated the three extra bosses (or not), as you progress through the Maverick stages, which will determine what the bosses of the first two Lab stages will be. My only complaint is how much of a pain the final boss is. He deals an astounding amount of damage, even with the Gold Armor's extra defense.

Because of this, and not really managing my special weapon usage, I ended up taking a game over (and getting very frustrated about it). It's a good thing I had a feeling the whole video would probably go over an hour, so expect a couple jump cuts from the half-way point onward.
