WARNING: There is some profanity in this video, children viewership is not recommended. You've been WARNED! Also, cutscenes in the game may cause intense fits of hysteria, you've been DOUBLE WARNED!

Mega Man X4 was made by Capcom and released on the Sony Playstation and part of the Mega Man X Collection for PS2, X-Box and Nintendo Gamecube. This is the former.
Recording, gameplay and commentary done by me.

Jet Stingray's stage troubles continues and there is more deaths before a resolution! Jet Stingray, unlike his stage, will kill you less or possibly not at all. His attacks aren't patternized BUT there are nearly foolproof ways to deal with them. For one, Frost Tower completely debilitates this Maverick's plan and can make this fight fairly easy. Second, his little Ground Hunters can be blasted quite easily before they get on the ground. Third, there are safe spots on the opposite wall (when not in the water) or directly under him at all times and his moves are a bit telegraphed. With all of that in mind, Jet Stingray is a simple "Shoot till dead" boss, but with the factor of reading his movements. If you do that, he will go down with little fight. Once you do that, you'll get a pretty decent special weapon that will prove very useful in later circumstances.

Slash Beast's stage is a rather odd level to do last considering that it is a fairly simple level and it has a freebie Heart Tank. The enemies and obstacles are far from dangerous and there's Drill Ride Armor within the trickier parts. There is threats of death pits at certain parts, but not enough to scare any player really. The mini-boss within the level CAN prove to be an obstacle without the right weapons but Plasma Shot will absolutely DESTROY this train. After getting through all of that, you'll get to an interesting boss room and a fight with Slash Beast.

Slash Beast isn't a hard Maverick. With X, he's probably the 3rd easiest to take down without his weakness, and has a pattern to him. He will do two jumps/attacks and then roar, repeating it throughout the whole fight. If you remember that little aspect, it will make this fight easier to do. He shoots out Twin Slasher waves, try to stomp you or jump on top of you and if he's near death, he'll try fang-bearing lunges and ramming the crate walls with his Vega-like move. Ground Hunter will make the fight a complete joke, throwing him in an abusable pattern of failure and he doesn't seem to like the X-Buster too much. After beating him, you'll get Twin Slasher. It's only really useful for like... two-three things, but it's not a bad special weapon. Just remember to use it to get the Armor Upgrade back in Magma Dragoon's stage if you didn't do that before OR care to do so.

Also, note to self... Grab Frost Walrus' heart tank that you STUPIDLY FORGOT the last time.

Enjoy the video!
