It's time to super smash our fellow Pokémon Trainers in the new Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon online competition: the Mega Melee! This competition is open only to those Pokémon capable of attaining Mega Evolution, excluding all Legendary and Mythical Pokémon that meet that criteria. This includes Pokémon that have been transferred forward from previous generations through the use of the Poké Transporter. The matches are in single battle format, with just a single Pokémon being chosen from each side per match. All held items are permitted, such as Mega Stones, but Z-Crystals and other competitive items (such as Focus Sash, Choice Scarf, etc.) are allowed as well.

My team for the Mega Melee is comprised of Chirp the Pidgeot (with Pidgeotite), Keaton the Heracross (Focus Sash), Blaze the Charizard (Grassium-Z), Gary the Gyarados (Gyaradosite), Scruff the Manectric (Manectite), and Skippy the Swampert (Icium-Z).
