So, I was fortunate enough to get sent a copy of the new work-in-progress fan made R-Type port for the Megadrive/Genesis. As someone that owned a Megadrive as a teenager (still owns it in fact) and who's a massive R-Type fan, it pleases me no end to see this legendary shooter looking so good on Sega's awesome 16 bit console.
