Stand on a shield on an edge of the map and watch the boss lose its will to live. This works on all bosses except for the fifth and final.

Shield Engine Arm is uncommon in Level 1 and common in Level 2, so this strategy should be fairly dependable. Carrying the shield through each level is kind of a pain however, as it's otherwise unhelpful!

Ideal shield placement differs for each boss. These placements are likely not ideal, but they're a decent starting point.

This also works with mines (e.g., from Zylin Chest) as a platform, although it's more dangerous and the parts for that ability drop later in the run.
