Well, actually, this was already prepared for at least a few months now, but since this was for a competition thing (hint's in the video title btw), I had to wait until the entire thing was over before putting this out to the public, and since it finished at Christmas Eve and the festivities were making this much harder for me to make the video, I decided to just wait until after for that, so yeah, that's why this was released at January 1st :P
Anyway, I wanted to cover MMNT's music for quite a long while now, being a huge fan of it and all (though that's likely cuz of my Battle Network and SuperSweep bias in general tbf), but there weren't a lot of MIDIs of it, until someone finally went and actually made some really accurate MIDIs of MMNT's soundtrack, and funnily enough I kinda had a hand in this myself since I was the one who inspired him to make them while we were talking on VGMusic's Discord server lol; it took me a while to get to cover anything from this soundtrack, but this was a lot of fun to put together so I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did haha
(oh yeah, if you're wondering which placement I got on it, I got 6th place, which is definitely not too shabby, especially considering the sheer amount of entries this time, which was 59 covers and 31 originals, for a total of 90 submissions; so yeah, the mere fact I got this far with my only entry was pretty cool, ngl)
