Disclaimer: The first three chapters of this playthrough ended up corrupted when I was looking to export it, so sadly the playlist here on youtube will be down a couple chapters. Although I guess I can try summing up the story to the current point. Forgive me if there are any mistakes in my recollection of the story.
Chapter 1: X, Zero, and Shadow (new face in X universe) go to some ruins to find missing investigation team. Ended up getting ambushed by big bad Mavericks of Rebellion Army. Shadow betrays X and Zero. Zero gets knocked off of huge tower and goes missing. X, left alone, causes an explosion on the top floor and jumps off.
Chapter 2: Wind up in Resistance Base bedroom (Resistance is fighting Rebellion). X goes to find Resistance Leader. We find Spider, bounty hunter who is after X's bounty as he is now "wanted." X later explains to Spider that Aile, Spider's past friend, gave his life to oppose Wild Jango (first boss) and passed on his ID so X could move about Central Tower. Fuming with anger, Spider ended his contract with Wild Jango and ran after him for essentially killing Aile. X and Spider unite on Central Tower roof for the big showdown against Jango. They won and take back Central Tower.
Chapter 3: Spider is with us for the ride. Resistance needs computer expert to maintain the base's functions. X and Spider go to a mining camp where reploids and the expert, Nana, are being held prisoer. X and Spider meet an armored fighter named Massimo(?) who joins us in our fight. They find Nana and proceed to locate Silver Horn (second boss). Lost sight of Massimo(?) on the way to Silver Horn. Massimo(?) speaks to the real Steel Massimo who was tortured and had his legs and arms cut off and hung on wall to die slowly. The original Massimo passes on the torch to Massimo to continue his legacy and fight for the weak. Everyone regroups and Nana got caught by Silver Horn. Silver Horn disses the original Massimo and Massimo gets pissed. Boss battle ensues. They won and now we have a computer expert back at base.
Chapter 4 Prologue: We need a help of a scientist to aid the Resistance efforts in battling the Rebellion, so we need to find Gaudile at his Laboratory.

Welcome to my playthrough of Mega Man X Command Mission! Unlike the other X games most fans would be familiar with, Capcom decided to do a JRPG spin off that I grew rather fond of growing up.
Instead of platforming, you control a party of people in turn-based combat with an array of attacks and other options at your disposal. There's an alright amount of strategy to the gameplay in regards to weapon and party member combinations. Also, there's a force metal system which acts as supplementary buffs to individual members to further augment your members further to give them an extra edge in battle.
