Welcome back mortals to another retro game series on my YouTube channel.

Today we're going back to the SNES and playing Megaman X2.

In this adventure, I'm once again playing as X and going around to destroy any maverick reploids that are running loose.

The mechanics are the same as the previous X title on SNES. Jump, walk, run/dash, climb/wall kick thru different stages and collect power ups including heart piece extensions to increase your life gauge and collecting armor upgrades parts to make you stronger and more durable.

Of course at the end of each stage, is an objective to take down the bosses to get their special weapons and clear that stage of their maverick threat.

For this series, yes I'm going to go obtain the hidden special move aka the Shoryuken.

For those unfamiliar, in the original MegaMan X and MegaMan X2 there are hidden secret street fighter weapons you can collect if you do everything to unlock them. Nice present to the gamers from Capcom 💯.

You get the Hadoken in X and the Shoryuken in X2. Both moves are OP and can take out bosses in 1-2 hits. In X, the Hadoken causes the bosses go down in 1 hit. In X2, the shoryuken can take the bosses down in 1-2 hits but it depends on how close you are to the bosses and how you hit them.

Regardless though, that's way better than using X-buster shots or charge shots or even their weaknesses to take the bosses down a bit slower.

Anyway, that's enough talk. Let's get this maverick hunting party started.
