MelGeek MOJO68 - New custom 68 key layout wireless ABS mechanical keyboard on Kickstarter!
Through the Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, MelGeek presented his new mechanical keyboard completely made of ABS plastic. This is the new MOJO 68.

At the time of making this video, the Kickstarter campaign is progressing at full spped.
The set goal of $ 50,000 has been largely achieved, with an amount raised exceeding to $ 400,000.
Starting from the box we’ll find of course the mechanical keyboard, user manual Type C cable, 2.4G usb receiver and keycap puller.
New mechanica keyboard Mojo 68 has a 68 key ANSI layout. Moving on to the dimensions It measure 327 mm of lenght, 123 mm of widht, 47 mm of hight and weights 1000 gram.
The Mel Geek Mojo68 keyboard is composed like this: ABS case, Silicone, Hot swap PCB, Poron, alluminium plate, hot swappable switches, keycaps.

The case is obtained through molding in ABS plastic. It will be available in different color variants each with specific name: Plastic with his trasparent case and his special keycaps, Retro the black edition, Monster with a deep blue, Ember with a coloring similar to the caramel or amber, the red Pigeon and in the end Neon with a Violet coloring.

Like evrey keyboard, the internal mounting style of a keyboard play a main role to the feeling.
For create a comfortable feel and dampened sound, MelGeek decided to use in the Mojo68 an advanced Gasket Mount design, where the keyboard plate is between 2 layers of silicone and Poron.
The layer of Silicone is used as a shock absorber which prevents the plate from directly contacting other components of the keyboard. This way, it can reduce the vibration created from keystrokes for a comfortable, elastic feel that reduces strain and pressure on your fingers during long typing sessions.
Instead, the layer of Poron is a important internal layer which is used as an extra cushion.
Poron is an ideal urethane foam for keyboard cushioning, managing the energy and dampening sound at the same time. It also provides a softer press feel and gives excellent performance for long term use.

The keyboard MelGeek Mojo 68 features a hot swap pcb. This allowing you to easily swap, upgrade, and mix switches without soldering.
In additon the keyboard offers different type of TTC and Gateron switches.
The TTC Mechanical switches include Speed Silver switches Blueish White Silver switches and Golden Pink Switches
Instead, the Gateron mechanical switches includ Blu Pro switches, Brown Pro Switches, White Pro Switches, Silver Pro Switches and Yellow Pro Switches.

Regarding the keycaps, all set are made in PBT.
The retro, pigeon, and neon models have 3 different keycaps set with each one different profile: mcr, mda and mg.

At the software we find the KBTools App, thanks to which various things can be customized such as the function keys, set the colors and rhythm of the RGB backlights for each key, shortcuts and also extra functions for gaming and software.
In addition, the mechanical keyboard supports QMK Quantum Mechanical Keyboard Firmware.
The mechanical keyboard Mojo 68 is compatible with devices Windows, Mac, Linux, IOS, and Android.
It can connected to the different devices throug variuos way: 2.4G USB Wireless, Type-C cable and via Bluetooth 5,1 and the 4000 MHz internal battery should guarantee hours and hours of autonomy.
It is possible to pair with up to 4 devices, and switch between them is very simple just press the combination of keys FN + 1 for the pc, or 2 for the laptop, or 3 for the tablet or 4 for the phone.
