Yama the wind dragon is a significant step up in difficulty from Ifrit and Mandrake. The main danger here is the poison moat surrounding the arena, especially if you don't have the Light Tome to cure status ailments, as poison rapidly takes off your health and Yama's attacks push and pull you around. Most of the fight takes place in phase 1 and during this phase Yama uses plenty of tough attacks, but he also spends most of his time stationary in the center of the arena, so getting in your own hits is easy. Phase 2 is surprisingly easier, but landing hits can be tough unless you take full advantage of Time Stop.
