This game has such a love-hate dynamic for me; ultimately, it has little replay-value as a single-player, but could be very fun with co-op, and at times felt like that's what was intended for certain sub missions. While the weapon arts have an intelligent design that is fun to utilize, it's completely neutralized by many unbalanced boss fights that overwhelm the player, thereby requiring tedious farming for better equipment, frequent buffing and debuffing or simply executing rinse-and-repeat attacks with minimal strategy and maximum boredom. Still, there were memorable moments throughout my gameplay that I've highlighted here. I wanted to complete the first Nioh before seeing why many claim that the second game is better. I hope I'm not disappointed.
