Mechanically, Brabus already has power upgrades for the diesel-powered GLE-Class, but options for other powertrains are on the way. PowerXtra D30 for the GLE 300d boosts horsepower to 302 horsepower (225 kilowatts) and 509 pound-feet (690 Newton-meters) from the stock 255 hp (190 kW) and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm). The PowerXtra D40 for the GLE 400d offers 365 hp (272 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm).
