I was trying to gather some footage of Limbo for my tutorial series when this happened

What's Limbo?
If you perform a Contract Warp out of a Contract where the next mission in sequence would take place on another in-game map, the game instead places you into what we call "Limbo".
You lose most of your progress (money, current weapons, MoM unlocks, emails, Faction statuses, etc) and are placed at the location of your most recent save (or MASH by default). All HQ guards disappear and there's pretty much no way to progress further
