It's always a dilemma. I was never one to strive for mercy killing first and foremost. A weakness perhaps, and could be cause for lingering pain, but chances are a finicky thing. Fates could change in the second before the final breath is taken. Knowing that you could've saved this being you did in out of "mercy" if you'd just wait a second or two is a horror I never want to face.

On the other hand, retaliation for someone who is obviously bad shooting first at my direction is no biggie, not at all.
