7In #mermay, artists draw mermaids. So, I drew a mermaid outside of the assigned prompts. Hey, I like to draw for fun, you know.
The mermaid I drew was Ariel, requested by @princesssofia8406, in which the mermaid finds a flashlight with batteries inside underwater, and she ponders if it still works, even under the waves.
Note: On the flashlight, I depicted it being made by Musker Industries, as a reference to the co-director and co-writer of the original “Little Mermaid” film John Musker.
