3Snake used the warmed PAL Key for the 3rd and final computer. However,instead of deactivating Metal Gear,it comes to life instead! Liquid Snake was posing as Snake's master all along(if it wasn't obvious from the voice). When the alarm goes off,throw on the Gasmask and call Otacon,he'll open the door for you in a few seconds. Chase after Liquid! Liquid tells Snake that Snake was sent here infected with FoxDie,and meant to spread it to everyone else here. Time to take on the walking tank! BOSS FIGHT: Metal Gear Rex. You'll want to keep Chaff Grenades going at all times. Otherwise,his missiles will home in on you and you can't dodge them. Chaff Grenades will throw off the targeting system. It also has a machine gun and a laser if you get too close. Target the round device on Rex's left shoulder with Stinger Missiles. You'll probably need to use a few Rations here. After it's HP drops,Gray Fox shows up to hold it off. He's able to destroy the radome,before being killed by Rex. The 2nd part of the fight starts afterwards,and the strategy is the same here. Keep up the Chaff Grenades,but now aim for Liquid directly inside Rex. Snake is able to successfully destroy Metal Gear Rex after the fight,but the explosion knocks him unconscious. Liquid survived too...
