Metamask Logout Sign Out 2022: How To Log Out Of Metamask Account?
23In today's video, I'm going to show you how to log out of metamask application if you are done using a meta mask app and you'd like to log out for the day on your iPhone.
Metamask is a free Ethereum based application for securely interacting with decentralized applications, or dApps, built on Ethereum's blockchain without running an ethereum node yourself.
Just follow the instructions below to logout of metamask:
1. Open your metamask app and get to the home page of metamask.
2. Once you are logged in you'll see three horizontal lines at the top left-hand corner of your home page. Give it a tap and in the pop-up, select log out that appears at the bottom of the screen
3. Tap the Logout button and in the pop-up, it will ask you if you'd really like to log out of your account. Confirm your selection by tapping a Yes button.
4. Now you'll end up in the password field that means you've logged out of your metamask app. If you need to log in back again, then you'll need to type in your password in the password text box and simply tap on the login button at the bottom.
