I've recently done the shunt mod on my RTX 3080 FTW3 hybrid which has brought down the Power Readings by 60%. Previously Metro Exodus would power throttle to 1960 MHz but now it runs at 2100 MHz flat stable :)

Info on the shunt mod (Liquid Metal was used):
3x 8 PIN shunts covered in liquid metal
1x PCI-E shunt covered in liquid metal
Overall Power usage dropped around 60%

All of the footage was recorded with Nvidia Share at 4K 60 FPS 130 MBps and then edited on Sony Vegas Pro 14. Finally the video was exported at 4K 60 FPS 130,000,000 bit rate for the best youtube quality possible.
