What is a Metroid game without power ups? Not a Metroid game! Luckily this one is legit and we get a ton of abilities that are fun and change the combat over time. Even though this is a shorter game overall, especially for the launch price, it could have gotten repetitive or dull, but the upgrades you get through the story keep things fresh at every turn and unlock more of the map each time.
Anyway, we are the beefy Samus by now and it's just so fun shredding older enemies who gave me a little bit of trouble in the beginning.
