This is my 1% speed run of metroid fusion in 0:49 in-game time on 04/25/2014, which beats the game as quickly as possible while getting only one missile tank.

This run is kind of the opposite of my previous run :P It had a bit of a sloppy start with terrible luck (4,5 beams on the first two eyedoors, and 11 jump zazabi? plz game...) then the second half went really well.

As of 04/25/2014, this is the single-segment record for 1% tied with biospark. Admittedly, biopark's 0:49 run is old and outdated, and he can easily get 0:48; I also aim to get 0:48 eventually.

One missile tank is collected in 1%, which is intended to be unskippable. This missile tank is named by the community "BOB", and is in sector 3, before obtaining super missiles. It is possible to skip this (notoriously called BOB skip) but is ridiculously difficult, has only been recently done by a few people. It isn't very viable at all in single-segment runs, so 1% is still a common category to run.
