Metroid Prime 2 Echoes: Part 120 (Vs. Emperor Ing)
0Welcome to part 120 of my Metroid Prime 2 Echoes Walkthrough. I will be starting a lot of my videos from the save point, or before the next major event.
--You know it's time! Time to kick the butt of this boss and take back the last bit of energy!!
Emperor Ing is composed of 3 phases. Each phase it transforms and has different attacks. First phase is all about destroying the tentacles. Lots of things to scan so be sure to get them all! I was pressing pause a lot to check my scan% count.
Emperor Ing will swing tentacles around and around. Any weapon with homing ability should do the trick well to destroy these. Annihilator beam should do the trick well if you're willing to use up your ammo.
After taking away all tentacles, Emperor Ing will expose its eye. You have to deal damage to the center that is not protected by the shield. I believe light beam or seeker missiles will work.
After taking down all HP, Emperor Ing will begin phase two. This time it is covered in an impervious shell that can only be destroyed by destroying all tentacles around the shell. You have to use the spider ball and travel around the shell while avoiding the hazards. Inglets pissed me off here lol, but power bombs will do the trick. If you time it right, you can take out 3 tentacles at a time.
Once all tentacles are destroyed, this will begin the final phase of the Emperor Ing!
