On September 5th 2010, 12 years before this Video was released, Item Loss Skip (in short ILS), the biggest skip in Metroid Prime 2 was found.
This run shows off a completely new route, showing off how today's Speedruns might look like if the Item Loss Skip was never found or impossible.
As of the release date of this video, Claris' 1:27 from 2010 is still the fastest completed run without ILS, however with today's strats, a high level runner could easily beat this time.
