As Samus tries to approach the door that leads to the Leviathan Seed,a security door shuts,and Space Pirates appear. The only way to open the door now is to shut down the defense system. To do that though,we'll need a new beam to get through that green door. There's a tram system nearby that leads to a new area of the planet,the Phazon Mining area. Use the drill to open the way forward,and find another expansion hidden in the wall. You'll eventually reach a room where you take an elevator down. In this room,Space Pirates will appear. The goal here is to wait until the machine in here tries to suck you in,then kill a Pirate to make him get sucked up into the machine and damage it. You have to do this 3 times to destroy it. You get the Nova Beam for destroying it! You can use it to hit switches in Phazite in conjunction with the X-Ray Visor. There's also the last of the Energy Cells and another Missile Expansion you can get nearby,and a landing pad for your ship as well.
