Sadly Metroid Prime 4 just got a development update where Nintendo announced that they would be doing a complete development restart, as well as switch developers over to Retro Studios. Obviously this is a big bummer, but what could it mean in terms of Metroid Games on the Nintendo Switch, as well as possible positive effects it could have on Metroid Prime 4? Does this Mean Nintendo finally sees Metroid as a big franchise, could we see a Metroid Prime Trilogy HD on Switch, and will a 2d Metroid game come to the Nintendo Switch?
