Welcome to part 68 of my Metroid Prime Walkthrough. I'll be starting the majority of my videos from each save point.

--I'll head towards the area the scanner showed. Upon entrance there's a cutscene that will show the overall view of the impact crater.
The pirate log tells us that they've already acquired some pieces of the chozo artifact but haven't been able to harness their power.

Next, the chozo lore tells us that the statues have been built after their sentinels and are always watching over the relics. They'll befriend those who honor the relics but punish those who seek to destroy them.

Next chozo lore tells of when the space pirates tried to destroy the relics only to fail. Looks like their prophecy is coming true because Samus will be taking on the worm later.

Within the center of the shrine is a chozo artifact. Scanning the other chozo statues will reveal clues as to where the remaining artifacts are.

Hmm, seems like I've failed in completing this game 100% scans because getting the artifacts early has erased the research scans on the ones I've gotten.
