Yeah. I went for what's generally considered to be the hardest ending to get in Zero Mission. Can't say whether or not I agree with that since as of me writing this I still didn't get the endings for 100% speedruns, but this is indeed very hard, hardest thing I had to do in a Metroid game, harder than AM2R on Fusion difficulty.
There are 9 items you must get, and 6 you can freely pick. I prioritized defense by grabbing 3 energy tanks, grabbed items that make navigating Zebes more convenient (Hi-Jump and Screw Attack), and of course a super missile tank because I needed that extra damage on bosses and Zebetites in Mother Brain's chamber.
I wish I never have to fight Mecha Ridley on Hard with 15% items again.
