Hello and thanks for downloading the side project i worked on a bit named , Metroid: Zero Mission Redux.
The goal of this project is too make the game as vanilla possible but at the same time editing some things
in gameplay and graphically to gave a better experience , as well as restauring others things from older games.
(Nestroid and Metroid III for example). Most of the area will remain slightly intact but a few exception will be made.

Take note that it's only a test version and some edits could be forgotten and will be added soon enough.



Known "Issue" that will be fixed next update

-Text is imcomplete (items aquisition for the first time)
-Some custom color palette aren't made for some enemies.

Version 1.0 (27 Febuary 2023)


-Gray door got added at crateria / brinstar entrance (avoiding to see burnt crateria early)

-Text for items got finished.

-Missile and Super Missile delay got reduced by 2

-Title screen show the correct name of the game (Zero Mission Redux)

-Marronless patch got added.

-Items select patches got added.

-some spriteset got cleaned up. gaving a bit of more space.

-R-Shot got imported from Metroid Fusion.

-Charge Beam got edited to be more close to the beta one.

-Easy mode have some slight change concerning tank which is:
Missile tank add 7 more instead of 5
Super Missile Tank Gave 3 instead of 2
Power Bombs Gave 3 Instead of 2
Energy tank remain unchanged.

-Plasma Beam GFX got edited to be way more slimmer and accurate to newer game and others.

-Speedbooster start slightly earlier than the vanilla counter part (around 60 frames).

-Better Physics patch got added.

-5 x 3 minimap got added.

-Better Morph roll got added.

-Tractor beam / Better Charge beam got added.

-HUD Gfx got modified with the Project: ZM One but sharing the same placement as Project ES Mission.

-wall jump work with space jump like in super metroid.

-Running and spinjumping animation are smoother than vanilla.

-Wall jumping dosen't have strating lag anymore. (Like in Project ZM)

-Charge beam gfx isn't hidden while spin jumping anymore.

-A second ice beam drop got added as a referrence from Metroid one.

-Unknown items. are fully optionnal to get , making a slight edit
in chozodia. (+ Meanning ridley fight start right when you enter rooms unlike vanilla ZM).
