143Short and sweet video on how to catch goldenfish and small goldenfish. I remember when I first started playing Monster Hunter, the Goldenfish quests were always a huge timesink. They would always seem like they take forever to complete, and they were boring to boot.
Fortunately, they don't need to take forever. Fishing is an acquired skill in Monster Hunter, but it's not very complicated once you get the hang of things. Small Goldenfish will seem like tiny brown or gold blobs, while full-size Goldenfish are very large and look brown. For the larger variety, use Goldenfish Bait to make your life easier. Oh, and watch out for trash mobs like Zamites, Rhenoplos, and Konchus. :)
