It has been a while since I showcased crusard.
Considered by many to be the best story track maker in the tm eswc period or even at the begining of tmu and few would disagree.
Here's something interesting: On february 22th, crusard released back to back 5 tracks, including The Jump and Racing Station and in the following day he presented us with his version of Micro Machines.
Now regarding this track and my overall feeling of fixed custom camera tracks such as micro machines which are quite common, in fact, as soon as mappers started experimenting with custom cameras, the idea of recreating this classic racing game didn't took to long. Altough common they were never really popular, the restricted camera prevented to see far away, navigation was tricky but I don't feel the same with crusard's version, it's true some turns apear out of nowhere but I don't how how he did it but the camera settings he used prevented me to be caught offguard in tight turns and it was just perfect, it allows you to see far enough, it captures the spirit of the game it's based on, even the minimum scenery works well enough on the track's gimmick.
Obviously for those who know crusard it's far from his best work but from something I would consider the start of his legendary MT-maker status, it's pretty good.
