Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 | Jan 7th DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
409Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020's latest Development Update after the release of VR, the 7th of January opens doors for more progress towards how more vast this simulator can be.
Upcoming items include World Update 3 focused on the region of the United Kingdom to be released on the 26th of January as well as Sim Update 3 which is planned to be released on February 23rd.

Under the SDK UPDATE, Asobo is still focusing our efforts on improving the new Visual Effects system performance. The corresponding editor has now reached its first basic functional version.
On the Scenery Editor side, the heightmaps edition is now ready and will be available in a future update. Object grouping feature is still WIP.
Third Party Updates - An always growing list that shows progress every week.
The quality of add-ons have improved overall with many updates on purchased items.
So in total, 471 airports have been released or in production.
About 105 aircrafts have been released or in production.
The scenery section, which was quite slow so far, have seen a dramatic addition of 60 sceneries just last week! a combined 106 sceneries.
