Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on Xbox Series X|S, PC, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass aims to be the next-gen fligh sim, featuring an all-new career mode, challenge leagues, enhancements of the ground detail, helipads, ship traffic and much more.
We tested the sim in our MSFS 2020 benchmarking locations NYC (daytime/cloudy) and LAX (nighttime/stormy) on Xbox Series X in 4K/120Hz with VRR enabled and HDR disabled. Please note that the video was rendered in 60 FPS due to YouTube limitations. We turned off AI traffic and multiplayer as they can limit performance. Green lines were produced by the performance overlay and are not part of the game. Test results may vary. Xbox provided us with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
