Microsoft Surface Pro 4 - Review
Microsoft is obviously comfortable with the design of its Surface notebooks. The Surface Pro 4 doesn’t look much different than its predecessor. Sure, new model is a hair thinner, and a few hundredths of a pound lighter, but its dimensions are otherwise the same. These numbers exclude the keyboard. It adds two-tenths of an inch and seven-tenths of a pound to the overall package.
The new Type Cover – which is compatible with the old Surface Pro 3, by the way – entirely fixes the problem. It better uses the available space, so its larger and offers plenty of space between keys. The touchpad is bigger, too, especially in height. Like the previous version, the new Cover is powered over a simple connector that attaches magnetically, and it can be used flat or propped at an angle for a more ergonomic experience.
