This is a 6-part series of videos designed to explain, in detail, the process of creating a character for the Iron Crown Enterprises' Middle Earth Role Playing Game (MERP RPG) & how to use my Player Character Spreadsheets, followed by one “Character Creation in 30 Minutes or Less” video. I wish to extend, in advance, my apologies for poor audio/video quality and my own deficiencies in video recording.

Feel free to comment below. I know I haven't been keeping up with this since the first video and that many of you would like some videos on other aspects of the game. I plan to take a more active role in the future. Our Facebook group, "Guardians of Middle Earth" is starting to see a good bit of activity and we now have several GMs who are starting to put games together for new players & old vets.

I will also be running games for new people. I'm about the most patient person I know when it comes to teaching this game that I love so much. I do plan to eventually record the games and post those videos on here (hopefully I'm not horrible!!!) so that people can watch them and get a better idea how to play.

It can be a slightly confusing system, but it's a lot of fun. As a GM, my goal is to try to focus more on the role-playing aspects of the game and mix in enough combat for excitement without getting too bogged down with the rules.

Please join us on Facebook at Guardians of Middle Earth (link below) and have a peek in the Files section where you will be able to access the First and Second Edition Rule Books and several other fun things, including a downloadable copy of both Player Character Spreadsheets (regular & dual weapons).
