Middle Earth Shadow Of Mordor is an open world action role playing hack and slash video game developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and was released in 2014.The Middle Earth games are set in the Lord Of The Rings Universe in a time period between the events of The Hobbit and the Lord Of The Rings.
The game received a sequel titled Middle Earth Shadow Of War in 2017 which continues the story forward and improves and expands the overall gameplay mechanics.
The game features free flow combat similar to the Batman Arkham games and the follows the story of a Gondorian Ranger #Talion who bonded with the wraith of the Elf Lord Celebrimbor and is now on a mission to amass an army to fight against the forces of Sauron to avenge the brutal murder of his family.
The game features a unique system called the #Nemesis System which makes every enemy encounter unique.
In this video I have taken a quick look back at the game as it is ten years old now and tried to answer whether it is still #worthit or not after a bigger and better sequel already out since 2017.
