Mighty Luigi Force "The Hack" - Burning Forest + Bad Ending (Advance Course)
Subject: Mighty Luigi Force is a ROM hack that first started as a contest entry for 12 Days before Christmas in 2013. Basically the goal of the contest was to make 12 levels that were all different themes chosen by the contest runners. As for the hack itself, it is very much influenced by the game Mighty Switch Force. (Hence the name) I decided to take the entry and expand on it more adding two new levels to each world + an extra world, bosses and cut scenes. Unfortunately it was rejected due to crashing issues? (Haven't been able to pin point the issue.) It can still be played however and is a fully playable ROM hack.

We now reach the final level of the game (Not the true final level mind you.) which is a merge of a forest and factory theme. Within the contest we were to choose between 5 themes and mix two of them together. Also like the hack version of the game this was also technically the final level in the contest version as well. In this level all the main switchable blocks minus the one way blocks are featured in this level as like a final test. The enemies are also all fired based...Speaking of fire you can probably guess who the final boss would be just based on that alone. It's FryGuy! He basically uses all the fire attacks you can think of and you go navigate through the arena using the switch blocks. It's not a super difficult boss and can kind of be cheesed from what I've seen. (Going to fix that in the update.) While I did put a lot of effort into the bosses they weren't the center focus of the hack. I do plan to spice them up a bit though. Anyways, if you complete this level without completing the other level that opens up first than you'll get the bad ending. Turns out the portal home was false!
