The Lenovo Miix 700 is very close in design and performance to the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 although it utilises a Core M processor instead of the Core i5 processor in the Surface Pro 3 here. Performance is very similar and the Miix 700 does its job silently.
This long-term (10-minute) load test gives an indication of relative performance, noise and heat between the two PCs.

Processors:
Lenovo Miix 700: Core M 6Y54
Surface Pro 4: Core i5 4300U

Both devices 4GB RAM, same Windows 10 OS builds.
Ambient temp 19.0-19.5 degrees Celsius.
Editing software: PowerDirector 14. Intel Quick Sync enabled.
Output format: H.264. 50 fps, 16 Mbps, 1920x1080.
