Michael Alex Conley Jr. (born October 11, 1987) is an American professional basketball player for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
He was drafted as the fourth pick in the 2007 NBA draft by the Memphis Grizzlies.
Conley would spend 12 seasons in Memphis and become the team's all time leading scorer before being traded to the Utah Jazz in 2019.
His father, Mike Conley Sr.
, was an Olympic gold and silver medalist in track and field.
Conley attended Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, where he led the basketball team to three consecutive state championships and an overall record of 103–7 in his four years as the starting point guard.
Over his senior year, he dished out a total of 123 assists.
He finished second in Indiana Mr. Basketball voting behind teammate Greg Oden, who was the national player of the year.
Among other accolades, Conley was selected to the McDonald's All American Team and named to the Parade All-American Third Team.
Considered a five-star recruit by Rivals.

He committed to Ohio State University as one part of the number two recruiting class in the country that year, along with fellow AAU teammates Greg Oden, Daequan Cook, and Mark Titus.
