In this Let's Play video, I will be playing Mind Over Magic with the latest "Nexus Update" expanding the Underschool with a new area to battle and explore. It features a new structure called the Altar of Fate. We continue our Pumpkin School of Mages. This playthrough is from a brand new "Relentless" school start. The "Relentless" Difficulty is the highest "Default" difficulty. In This episode, you will see me check out the live version of the Nexus Update and the Altar of Fate. We will be exploring the Underschool and work on Training new systems and checking out the new Dragon Quests. New Holiday cosmetics are now in the game. The new Altar of Fate let's you reroll reroll trials, relic slots abilities, and affinities. (This VOD was streamed live on Christmas Day on my Twitch Channel).

Gather resources and build a Wizard School, summon students, and train them to become an apprentice, graduate or hire them as staff members. Explore the Underworld and engage in Turned Base combat (similar to Final Fantasy style). Fight back the Fog. It's Harry Potter meets Oxygen Not included and Rim World! I really enjoy playing this game. It's very addictive and fun. It's definitely worth buying and playing. I highly recommend this game.

There are many gameplay comparisons here similar to that of Oxygen Not Included and RimWorld. You are tasked with developing a Magic School to train new wizards to defeat and push back the Fog that will destroy your school and the world. Gather Resources that spawn around your base to build up the school. The wizards you train are summoned via crafting special Wands.
