Microsoft has announced the Xbox One version of Minecraft will be available this Friday, while the PlayStation 4 version will be out today.

UPDATE: The PS4 version may be delayed again, according to lead developer @jeb_. In a tweet he says, "A couple of last minute show stoppers appeared, which has delayed everything. Soon™" -- No idea yet whether it will still launch today or slip to tomorrow or later.

UPDATE 2: users in the UK and Australia are reporting the game is available in the PSN store for those regions.

UPDATE 3: Sony has confirmed that it won't be out for the US until tomorrow. Sorry folks. :( Envy your commonwealth brethren.
