Nvidia just put an update on their blog detailing how they would be limiting mining on the GeForce RTX 3060, 3060 Ti, 3070, and 3080. Nvidia's GeForce RTX cards with the limited mining performance will be called "Limited-Hash-Rate" GPUs or LHR GPUs. The question is, will this actually stop miners from buying up all the Nvidia RTX 3080s, or will it just make things worse for gamers.
